Christian Satellite Providers

Image
What is a Christian Satellite Provider. Well, let’s start with what it takes to be a provider of television channels. A provider is one that bundles a particular group of channels and packages them on satellite or cable TV. For example Cable TV (broadband) obtains contracts with a satellite television network and pays a few cents per subscriber for the privilege to carry them on their distribution systems. Then the cable company turns around and bundles all the channels together in tiers or packages to resale. The same concept applies to satellite TV providers. They bundle the channels and re-transmit them via satellite for resale. Some channels actually pay the cable and satellite provider’s commissions to carry them, such as shopping networks that you pay for on your basic package. Have you noticed how many of those channels you are stuck with? Cable and satellite providers make millions with these networks. Now, the question is how does a Christian Satellite Provider package t

Taking Control Of Your Television.

Taking control of your television viewing is the topic of my blog today. Lately as you well know there is nothing but garbage on television. With over 200 channels offered by most television subscription services it would seem impossible that you would have to channel surf so much. Try to watch a program with the family and that’s almost an impossible task anymore. Let’s take a flashback to the past, when you could sit down and watch television and not get insulted, offended or even embarrassed. Now, I am not an older person nor am I a fanatic, I just want to sit down and watch a television program in peace. It got to the point that we went cold turkey and dropped all television from our home. I will tell you that we suffered a withdrawal, that’s right, withdrawals from not having television on in our home. You would not believe how much gets done around the house and how much studying goes on when the tube is off. I would highly recommend shutting the TV off for a season. Y

Mortgage Manager

For today's article will focus on real estate. I happen to know quite a bit on the subject since I was a real estate loan origination agent and a real estate investor.  Today’s real estate market is quite volatile; experts are predicting a double dip on the real estate market in the near future. Meaning we experience tremendous losses from the last real estate market dip a couple of years ago.  Some lost 100 thousand dollars in equity on the last real estate dip and what is scary is that you stand to lose another bundle. Sadly many families lost their homes too. There is some hope and there is something that can be done to offset the loss of equity.  That tactic falls on what you can do to decrease interest on your loan.  The best strategy that I have implemented is to save hundreds and thousands of dollars on my mortgage paid to the banks.  I purchase the rights to a very effective and reliable software called the Mortgage Manager™ Well, the question remains how do you save the m

Realigning the Glorystar satellite dish to G-19

It happened last time there was a satellite move for the Galaxy 19 satellite .  Everyone seems to wait until the last moment to make their realignment on their FTA dish.  Last week we realigned an insane amount of dishes from AMC-4 to Galaxy 19 satellite , the channels affected mainly are Hope Channel, 3abn and LLBN.  I have published a video that will help the do it yourself people out there.  Most of the dish's affected out there are the Galaxy 19 satellite systems with the single LNBF.  To view the self help video on Youtube visit Ideal Satellite Channel I hope this video will help all the people that I cant help myself. Good Luck

Conventional LNBF vs. Bullet LNBF

The most popular question I get is which is better, a bullet shape LNB or conventional LNBF. So I decide to compared the two LNBF's. I compared the GeoSat pro SL-1 Bullet (this is the only bullet LNBF that I know about) and a conventional linear LNBF. I will provably do a video on this topic in the future, but for now here are the findings of my test. I compared the DMX-521 LNBF 70 db gain typical, L.O. Freq 10750 and the GeoSat pro SL-1 LNBF 55db gain typical, L.O. Freq 10750. Right of the get go, the conventional design proved to have better gain (22% difference) just because of the extra capturing surface in front of the LNB? How do I know that? Well, I made a cup shape with my hand in front of the Geosat lnb and my db gain went up 6 db's. I went a step further and took aluminum foil and made a funnel (cone shape) that emulated the conventional LNB design (to be fair) and placed it in front of the geosat LNB. This produced a 12 db gain. That would take the Geos
